Taking his first steps in the industry, FAYAT purchases a pressure vessels company:
LE RESERVOIR

1977 
Steel construction joins the group with the buyout of CASTEL et FROMAGET

1985 
This marked the beginning of a succession of takeovers of handling and hoisting equipment and road building equipment companies: ADC, ERMONT and MARINI in Italy join the Group

1994
With the acquisition of the GENEST group, FAYAT doubled the number of employees and its turnover, and took on new activities: industrial sealing and special foundations

2002
BEC FRERES reinforced the Group's civil engineering and earthworks activities; 3 general contractors were created

2004
The road building equipment division completed the range and improved its positioning abroad with the takeover of BOMAG, the world leader in compaction

2008
With the take-over of RAZEL, the public works sector opens up new prospects

2010
CARI joins the group and adds new scale to the building activity
